Blueprint (2011)

In this series I am using the cyanotype process, which
is one of the oldest photographic printing techniques.
Before the digital age it was also widely used to make
technical drawings, to document architecture or
engineering designs.

More generally, the term “blueprint” has come to be used
to refer to any detailed plan.

With this knowledge I decided to make my own blueprint.
This resulted in a very personal work where my own
archival material is being remastered and reprinted using
this age-old process. In addition I made photograms of
personal artifacts that I gathered.
